The control burn which started on 5 April 2018 was completed on Friday, 13 April 2018. A big thank you to Frik and Vaughn for a difficult task well done! A picture speaks a thousand words – BEFORE AND AFTER You have previously been advised that our refuse site will become a transfer site where only household refuse would be stored in skips for removal by the Municipality. Refuse Site – Update 11 April
Control burning Concerns have been raised about smoke from the refuse site. Our previous notice regarding the process of burning the garden refuse which started on 5 April 2018, refers. This process will continue for some time as only sections of the huge pile of garden refuse can be moved to the” burn area” and then burnt. Burning is dependent on the wind direction, therefore, the process will take some time.
